I keep my mornings slow.
Some days I wake up at 7am. Some days I sleep until 10. My body wakes me up when it’s ready. There is no alarm pushing me out of bed and no reason to rush.
No matter what time I get up, I take my time. I drink water first. I make breakfast instead of grabbing something quick. I shower. I moisturize. I move through everything calmly, without trying to speed it up.
In the morning I say my affirmations. I manifest. I close my eyes and visualize the kind of day I want to have and the life I’m building. It gives me a moment to be still and intentional before anything else begins.
Sometimes I watch Love Is Blind. Sometimes I read. Nothing heavy. Just something simple while I wake up fully.
Then I sit down with my planner. I rely on it to keep me organized. I like planning my day, not just my week or month. Writing things down helps me focus and move with purpose.
Before I start my day, I start with myself.
Slow mornings are not about doing nothing. They are about not rushing into the day before I’m ready.
